A very nice article, although it seems to be about Baghdad and the life and views of artists there rather than Iraq as a whole. I'm not sure that the Kurds had much time for art as Bakr and Saddam's troops razed their villages, or the Marsh Arabs either. Hopefully in a few years the artists will be able to return and continue their work all across the country rather than just in Baghdad...
