Great article, but a frustrating read, due to the lack of proper punctuation in a lot of spots. Please close your quotations!
If this article is following some sort of nouveau grammatical style, of which I'm not aware, I remain frustrated; however, I apologize.
I've found Rich to be a generally unaffected and sincerely enthusiastic radio host, but was somewhat dismayed that he was unfamiliar with the phrase,'cutting one's teeth'. Even more disturbing was his reporting of Levon Helm's age as 79. (He's ten years younger than that!) He did acknowledge his error, but it took more than a week for someone to point out the inaccuracy.
Much more troubling is extremely limited play-list. One tune is chosen from an artist's repertoire and played to death. This kind of mindless, repetitive programming is available elsewhere on the dial. Who are they trying to appeal to - cretins?
I could care less that Terfry played baseball and music. He has nothing interesting to say, ditto for Bob M in the morning slot. They may be nice guys but they should not be speaking on the radio. It is so annoying when Terfry says throughout his show \"Thanks SO much for being here. His entire manner of speaking sounds so unnatural, unlike someone like Tom Allen.
