Then we can simultaneously vote Bush out of office and enjoy MTV with a clear conscience. There is a precedent, ie the Pax Romana (Roman peace) that lasted a good 100-200 years -- all those fools in Gaul, Assyria, Scythia, Britannia (far far away from Italy) were also bona fide Romans.
