6 gold, 4 silver for Walrus at mag awards

The Walrus won six gold and four silver medals at the National Magazine Awards (NMA), held June 6 at the Carlu in Toronto. The ten medals mean that The Walrus has received the most awards of any Canadian magazine at the NMAs for the third consecutive year.
The magazine also received twenty-seven honourable mentions, and the award for Best New Writer, Patrick White, for his article “Red Rush” (April 2007).
